The institute offers M.Tech in 5 branches namely, Mechanical, electrical, electronics and telecommunication, Computer Science and Nano Technology. Admission to M.Tech is based on the PGAT or GATE marks of concerned year. The admission in MBA programme is on the basis of Orissa Joint Entrance Examination. KIST offers 60 seats for MBA programme.
